So how much power can be gained by upgrading the impellers? Does that increase airflow or change the trim levels at all?

I believe the AMS car is pushing 550whp with modified turbos and bolt ons.

Are these cars still have the High Pressure Fuel pump problems? If not they are amazing vehicles, those engines are crazy!

Sadly, Yes, they are having problems, but there not popping with problems left and right. Just an unfortunate few. But none-the-less they are still amazing cars IMO.

There seems to be a new fuel pump... FINALLY. We're hoping they won't fail anymore.

Yes, but the fuel pump has a 120,000 mile warranty now. At least for use early purchasers. It has a new part number that replaces the old fuel pump part number.

Wow, I never heard about this new fuel pump. Is it a new BMW unit or did someone finally figure it out in the aftermarket? That makes the 135i now one of my favorite cars again haha

There is also an aftermarket HPFP that has a lifetime guarantee for those out of 4/50 full.
