hey i remember myself from this thread a year ago!! LOLZ but ya...theCPE i also had a g35 coupe b4 i ended up getting fed up with all the problems it was giving me (long story) but i was also looking into either a new 5.0 or used e92 M3 (must say i love both cars btw) but for some reason i did a 180 and got a ls460 instead i plan on getting something more performance orientated soon (once this economy gets better

but honestly people will be biased and will have thier opinions but the only one that matters to me is MINE

That is a 180!

What problems did you have with your G35?

My biggest gripe was the VQ didn't respond well to mods except FI.

With the 5.0 the aftermarket is abundant, relatively inexpensive and the motor is very responsive!

i modded the guts out of it and i really didnt have the time to fine tune it the way i wanted so it was a halfed *** car to say the least... i was around 55k miles and the famous oil consumption problem appeared and no one was willing to fix it...even the dealer was like nooo (worst experience with them BTW bunch of little kids) so i just parted out the car sold it "as-is" and actually sold it pretty quick and found the LS for a VERY good price in that same time so i couldn't resist it ^_^

and you're right the vq is resistant to make power unless you go FI and that only leads you to trouble >

BUT the 5.0 is a WHOLE other story

once business get better and ill sell a few cars ill get back into the muscle car game

You were wondering who cared what a mustang is capable of?

The answer was a whole bunch of people in fact more people than care what an m3 is capable of.

Somehow based on that discovery you've now grown very fond of mcdonalds.

Mustang vs M3

Amazing car ford produced.

The only thing the Bmw M3 clearly beats the Ford mustang is the interior but surely that doesn't justify the 30 thousand dollar price difference.

This is clear proof that BMW charges customers massive amounts just for that badge.

Just imagine the new Boss mustang vs the BMW m3. It is cheaper than some of the new three series yet faster than the BMW m3.

BMW isn't the only manufacturer that charges for the badge, but if they can get the price and sell the number of cars they want to remain "exclusive" than you can't argue with that.

I looked at a BOSS but since I wont be tracking the car, it just didn't warrant the extra 10k. Plus the interior of the BOSS isn't as nice as the CS package, for obvious reasons.

I've got just over 1k on the odometer now and all I can say is this 5.0 is an awesome motor. Can't wait to start adding some mods.

Who else thinks of putting a carbon fiber roof on a car?

I Really thought about the Mustang and modding it, Really thought about keeping my E46 M3 Comp and I own a 911 Turbo.

This was very difficult for me.

The Mustang is a great platform and a great value-but it attracts the wrong type of trouble from the Police and other cars/drivers. I want to drive and not be molested, I want to hear my engine without someone thinking I want to race.

The E92 M3 with Dinan Software and Exhaust at the 8600 redline…Sorry everyone-it sounds similar to a Formula 1 engine (I know half the Revs) and almost as good as Ferrari-which I can't afford, or would ever care to turn a wrench on.

I ordered the 2011 e92 m3-Who else thinks of putting a carbon fiber roof on a car?

Street Racing?

Most drivers let the adrenaline take control over their common sense.

Have you ever been pulled over for street racing at over 100? The Police do not ask questions.

I have been pulled over for 90+ on an acceleration run and was politely let go to live another day.
-If there was another car involved...it would have been over!
