Spotted new 5er

Just saw the new 5 series out on the road in San Diego, sorry but was unable to snap a pic. Overall looks very good in person, not fully feeling the tail lights and the flatness of the front, not as bad as on the new 7 though.
Again sorry about not having any pics to post.

i think they look better than the e60's. i got to drive the 550i last friday at a "ultimate driving event" and that thing is pretty fast. the interior looks pretty well built as well.

i've seen quite a few.... i thought it was the F01 7 series at first...

I've seen one, had the same reaction before I realized it was the new 5.

I drove one the other day when I was picking up my M3. Beautiful interior, and VERY fast. Almost 2x as much torque as the M, so it just felt like it pulled and pulled. however, it was SO well built and quiet, that it was not at all engaging/. To have any fun at all, you had to bury your foot in the throttle. On the other hand, the M just feels so engaging, visceral, wind in the face from the top down, etc. I'm 44, but just not ready for that luxury sedan feeling.... :-)
