Yes, I am VERY surprised. Those new 550is will be very, very mean. It's not even AWD? Not much can outlaunch a GCSRT8, especially on the street. That's impressive to say the least

Yea, i have the exact mods that jeep has on mine, I wouldn't mess with those 550i's now!

I don't get it, I don't find it surprising at all that a RWD twin turbo V8 sedan takes down a naturally aspirated V8 SUV especially as speeds rise.

 

I think the most surprising part is the jump...

Yep, that's the surprising part. It's a no brainer that the BMW will walk it from a roll or at higher speeds. What's surprising is that the BMW outlaunches the Jeep. Those Jeeps can pull a quick jump on a lot of sports cars because of their super low gearing, tons of torque down low, and huge amounts of AWD traction.

 

As above, there aren't a lot of cars that can beat even a stock SRT8 Jeep from 0-50.

A modded one (even lightly with bolt ons) as in the video, is very impressive. Out launched, and pulled on like a freight train.

 

If you notice the 550i leaves first. I'd estimate it at a 12.8-13.0 car
