I'm running those myself. Very lightweight wheel. Did you have stock 19s on before this? I'd like to hear your driving impressions with the new setup.

I had 19" Volk TE37sl's prior to the HRE's. 20" Volk G2's prior to that. The 19" volks had Yokohama AD08's on them which resulted in a stiffer ride, more road noise and more grip than the Pilot Super Sports that are on the 18's. I also changed the suspension at the time of the wheel change so it's hard for me to compare apples to apples (I went from Eibach springs on OEM shocks to KW Clubsport 3-way). I will say that the wheels look great and the ride quality less harsh than my previous set-up. I had 295's on the 19's vs. the 285's on the 18's which may be contributing to my perception of less grip. Unfortunately PSS's are not available in 295/35/18 or 305/35/18 which would have been my first and second choice in size for the rear.

Thanks for the reply. Your car is slammed now so I can see why a fair comparison is probably out of the question.

What was the purpose of going down in size? I notice a lot of the youth are doing that now. Is it the latest cool thing to do?
