To be honest, I'm not really feeling those colors - there's like 10 shades of black or 'black with a tint of another color', and a few more shades of greyish bronze.

Its cool to have a unique color, but what about some nice blues or something? M cars used to be available in great 'M' colors....blue, purple and red. What happened?

Anyway, its tough to get Individual from a US dealer, so if you want it, good luck!

Bmw doesn't offer Individual options in the US, That is what Herb chambers Bmw said.

No, you can get them. It takes some work, but I've seen some M3s with Individual colors from the factory, and "individual tags", they are very expensive though, for a BMW that is.

I think the paint goes for like $4K, Leather about $4.5K.

Those could be imported from Europe, I asked my dealer (herb chambers bmw) that I wanted a 6 Series individual, and he told that they did not offer that program in the US. They informed that I would be able to order in germany with US specs, and have it delivered to the states, but not through the dealer

BMW NA has always said that is not available. You have to find a big (with some pull) dealer and a very good SA, and make them work it. If you go the BMW forums you may find more details.

Not a fan of wood, although that's the best I've seen (cherry?)
Automatic and idrive- yuck.

Individual is not available here at all, for anyone.
BMWNA used to allow colors from other current BMW models or past BMW models, but recently has been denying even these requests. It slows down the production and requires BMWNA to try to sell these cars after 3 year leases to people who aren't necessarily fond of kiwi or velvet interiors.

I personally think the Blue Onyx Metallic is a beutiful color! Wish it were available on the M6 by the time I get to option it out. Blue Onyx on Merino Champagne would be awesome if available here, but i will make do with what's available here.
