Well I think maybe I'll hold off on my Cayman vs. 911 choice... I'm looking forward to the M Coupe for sure. Confirmed by BMWNA Sales Manager, M Coupe to be built this spring! Previously only the roadster was confirmed.

From GermanCarFans.com:
"The M version will have the E46 M3 CSL engine tuned up to 410-420 hp and 4 tail pipes of course. M-styling will be distinctive. There is speculation of a CSL version with the M5/M6 V10 engine and even more usage of lightweight materials but highly unlikely. The three dimensional spoked wheels exclusively developed for the Z4 Coupe Concept will go into production in size 19x8. The production version will be shown in January at Detroit Motor Show."

I'm NOT buying the hp claim. I'll assume the same 333 hp from the US E46 M3 S54 motor, and hope for a bit more...

Ya Paul they will probably use E46 motor@333 but this car will come in much lighter then the M3 even thoug the older Mcoupe was ugly as **** it was a real animal, I would take this new coupe over a Cayman but not a 997 however I would hold onto that GT3 as long as possible as new rumors have a 3.8 motor upgraded w. dry sump system in the new 997 GT3..sit tight...I am still lovin the M3
