Is this a good deal on an E39 M5?

No interest in purchasing right now but maybe sometime in the future.

Just for knowledge sake am I posting this.

What do you guys think of the price?

$39,995 I would say that's high for stock 2000 but with the mods..about right.

way too high. my friend just sold his 01 m5 with 36k miles on the clock for 35k

MuffinMan is infamous around these parts
An associate of mine is selling his '03 with 26k miles (lots of options, new tires, etc) for $50.9k, so it seems a car 3 years older is a hair overpriced at $40k.

Regardless, dont buy a '00. Get an '02 or newer...
