Alpine is incredibly talented, they have revolutionized custom car building, but when the car doesn't even look good they have gone too far.

That is a car made in house by Alpine. It's obviously for show only and is pretty typical of what they have been doing for the past few years. They seem to get more radical each year. I'm not saying that it looks good, but that's not the point. They just want to showcase their electronics in a unique way. I have heard that the workmanship is spectacular and the motorization is usually incredible as well.

Guys this is NOT a personal vehicle but a demo vehicle for a large stereo company. As a result it has to push the envelope in terms of design, fit and finish. I've seen this car in person and the labor is stunning - they basically rebuilt the car from the ground up.

I'm an engineer and when I see this type of custom work I'm just in awe!

This is not a person's daily driver so for it's purpose it's a perfect car.
