Mah new 6-SP

Sug guys. Since i got this new 6SP, i thought i'd come on here and show you guys the new ride.

I'm sure some of you already know me and probably have seen this car on E46Fanatics too.

Specs:

2007 Silver Gray M Coupe w/Imola Red Interior.

Thanks to everyone at DPE, Eric@SPP, Al@BMP Design/Supersprint, Race Technologies, Wheelpower for completing this project in time for bimmerfest!

Overnight modding sure is hectic!

The car was featured in the BMP Design / Supersprint booth for the show so i'd like to give a special thanks to the crew at BMP for cooperating with me on this. To anyone looking for the best of service and fast product delivery, please contact BMP Designs!

The car is brand new, i haven't even break it in yet! but i absolutely love this beast! I am glad I picked this car over the E90/E92.

So far on the list includes:
20" DPE Signature S10 in Flat Black
Toyo T1R Tires 245/285
Brembo 6/14 and 4/13.6 Big Reds.
Supersprint Powerloop rear section mufflers.
H&R Springs

Many more goodies coming to the car soon as well.

Comments welcome!!!

Love the look, the gray really looks nice with the black wheels. The new M Coupe is really starting to grow on me. Enjoy.

Both this and the previous Moupe really do it for me. They've got a very quirky love-it-or-hate-it and I'm definitely in the love it category.

Any chance you've got enough wheeltime in each to compare it to an E46 M3?

Its actually not bad at all.

The stock suspension was pretty stiff already. The H&Rs just made it slightly stiffer, but i'm waiting for the KWs to come in (KW's backordered through germany). So i hope that will improve the ride even further.

Thanks for the comp! This set of wheels isn't really my choice to begin with. But i literally had 1 weeks time ( actually 2 days ) to build this car for Bimmerfest, i really had no choice.

I went with 20s because IMO, the 19s are just a bit too small for the car in my eyes. And yes, they look nice but its really just for daily and showing. I do plan to go back to a set of 18s for track or 19s eventually if I just get tired of watching for potholes. Plus the tires were free so i couldn't say no!

I really don't see this car in the love-it-or-hate-it category. I think regardless of opinion, she will draw anyone's interest and put you in awe for if not just a second.

I drove the E46 M3 many times. But this car feels much more "squnkier" and almost "too responsive" in comparison. In stock form the car is definitely quicker, lighter, and stiffer. The steering response felt very twitchy when i first started to drive the car and is more responsive as compared to the M3 in my opinion. Especially at high speeds, its almost scary to make abrupt lane changes, over compensation is most evident. But DSC comes on to calm ur nerves. But wider rubber will surely help in this kind of situation. After i got the wheels with wider tires, this is almost non-existent. Over all, i think the transition between my previous car was what lead to some of the nervousness i experienced. But then again, i only have about 500miles on the ODO. So time will tell how much i will love her!
