Will the 08 M5 get all the goodies (such as new tail lights etc.) that the new 5 series has gotten? i have been a couple of new (08') 5 series bmws around and i think the new tail lights look much better than previous ones. anyone have any info on this?

08 has been out since May. got all the new updates.

 

I think grussell has his one since may or so. Very hot looking car.

 

They did a great change on the facelift. I actually like it now. Crazy how something so simple can be so dramatic. On that note - the new M3's - BLEH.

 

i definately agree with you. i never liked the 5 series, then bmw changes something very little like the tail lights...then i kinda start to like the 5 series.... pretty weird

The new M5 has new tail lights and euro style headlights.

 

The 08 does have the new rear lights and headlights. The door panels are different from pre-08 as well.
