Apparently, they suck.
They had a bad reputation when I lived in NY a few years back.

So Anyway, I took it back to Manhattan Motorcars and they said "oh, that's nothing, it's minor" and I told him a little spray off is minor, this is BIG. They basically brushed it off like it wasn't anything big, even when all the panels that they sprayed were horrible by the seams. Anyway, I'll be letting them go over the car next week and we'll see what they do.

In addition, I noticed that they never put on the clear bra on the rear fenders thus resulting in severe rock chips. Can they be liable for the damages since they forgot to put it on in the first place?

Should they also be responsible for giving me a Loaner car since they didn't do the job right the first time?

They should give a loaner gave, but will they? I doubt it.

Give them hell. Hopefully someone comes in asking for bodywork and you just happen to over hear it; "Oh so your considering body work from here? Let me show you the quality of work they do." then show the potential customer your car.

Let them know that you post about it on 6speedonline as well.

If you don't mind me asking how much did a respray cost?

Respray cost about $4k...definitely not worth it. What's funny is that you would expect them to do a much better job since they handle the Lamborghini, Bentley, Lotus clients too...or maybe it's just a lowly Boxster they couldn't give a damn. I'm actually going to do a video to show all the "minor" mistakes they did....the more carefully, I look the more it's getting worse. I mean if I can see it, so can everyone else.

If they were supposed to put on clear bra AND you can show that the damage would not have occurred if the clear bra was in place, you have an argument they should be responsible for the damages.

Never put clear bra over freshly painted panels. Always wait at least 30 days.
