I did this mod today and It was Easy Fun and Cheap!! .Depending on the color of your car you can really choose many colors. I tried Red First, looked Bad ,Really bad Tried Yellow second, Looked Rice ,Really Rice!! But the Silver Blended well . Thoughts ?

Yes ,They pop right Off in about 1 minute !! Prime then Paint ,Very simple . Techart has a Cayman Gt on their website with this color combo so thats where I got the Idea ,Doing the rear bottom Piece this weekend in the silver .I Think it breaks up the ALL black .Too much black out just looks kinda Muddy

 

Nice. I have rims with red lips. I was wondering if I should paint my spears red to match. .. So u gonna paint the front lips next? Post pics after u done with it man. Good luck.

 

I did mine in a medium silver and the lips to match too. They stood out too much in white and I didn’t want to black them out and lose the design element.

AHH but I am a Seahawks fan

What kind of primer and paint did you guys end up using??

 

I went to Pep Boys and got spray cans of an adhesion promoter, flexible bumper paint, and a gloss clear.

 

Very nice results. Clean car.
