06 Cayman S with KW V3's

Meant to post this some time ago, but am just getting down to it.
Had the V3's installed and have been very happy with the outcome. Surprisingly compliant yet they set well in the turns. The car also has a set of front and rear matching H&R sways. The valving is set at neutral right now. I may mess with the settings when I can actually get out and drive the car more. The ride height is perfect and I'm very happy with the upgrade.

V3's

I honestly don't have a ton of miles on them yet, but so far, I really do like the feel of the car better than with my old coilovers. Compliant but firm in the corners. Not chattery or bouncy at all. The low speed valving seems to be dialed in very well. Nice and flat, plus the overall fit and finish of the components are very clean.

Is there any "rake" needed in the cayman s alignment ? my 996tt dips down a little and it helped cornering greatly ! also, could i ask what is the labor cost for shock installation? has anyone installed just h&r springs onto stock cayman shocks ?

porschenaround

I had Just The H&R's put on my car was Quoted $1,850.00 Including springs and labor but without allignment from a Porsche/Bmw mod shop locally here in WA.I thought it was a little high so I went to Les Schwab and got The H&R's ,allignment and labor for $873.00 total !!!! took them almost a Full days work but the Ride and stance is PERFECT with my 19's

wow really ! i am seeing more and more options in the markets to get away from those gouging the porsche client. Very happy you found a fair price for the springs and install ! Could you post email or contact info for Les Schwab?

Hey, do you know if the factory coil-overs are height adjustable? Thanks.
