The easiest way is to get in your car, set the parking brake, turn the ingition to position 2 wait for the air bag light to blink 3 times then turn the parking lights on. Now clip and unclip the seatbelts 9 times. The air bag light will come on and then go out. Now click and unclick the belt once more. This will disable to reminder chime. Or
you can just wear your seatbelt.

Last time I was at my dealer, I saw a tech, tipped him and he tuned it off with the Porsche computer.

Actually that way only works on fords. It's laid out in the owners manual. Maybe Porsche has a similar process.

Anyone else noticed this really annoying feature? If your trunk is not latched the car will tell you that it's open...... after it tells you to put on your seat belt! What a PITA. Get in, get yelled at to put your seat belt on, then after your belt's on it tells you, "oh yeah, your trunk's open!" ...

Would it be too confrontational to ask why you are not wearing your seatbelt?

I don't mean to sound like your Mom, but buckle up. Seat belts are not just some government mandated extravagance in cars.

I for one wear my seatbelt while driving.
But when Im sitting in the car waiting for someone its very annoying to either wear the seatbelt (even if Im not moving) or have to listen to the annoying chime.

You could swap the passenger and driver seat belts and that'll stop the seatbelt reminder chime.

disconnect your battery for atleast 15min. then remove seats and swap the buckles and reinstall the seats and reconnect the battery. Problemo Complete...O.
