I have seen some Red Caymans on the planet9 site with all that you described in Black and it Really makes your red color car look great ,The black works well with the Red .Even without pictures I would go for it .
Then add some Coil overs or lowering springs H&R is what I did and your set . a whole new and exciting look to your Stock looking Cayman

No problem. It's a bit rough around the edges, but drives the point home. I also had a rendition with glossy black mirrors, but I forgot to save it that way.
From personal taste, contrasting black color works extremely well for most colors, but too much makes it look busy.
I think your idea compliments/ accentuates the lines of the CS while keeping the overall look extremely clean and understated.
