CF Rear spoilder blade direct replacement mod

So awhile ago I put a order in for a carbon fiber rear spoiler blade that would be a direct replacement for my Cayman rear blade. After a month or so of waiting it finally arrived at the office today. Take a look I will post more pics once on the vehicle but it is larger then stock giving it the old school look and extremely light weight. I got this during a group buy sort of and paid a little under $700 the company is called Safetech composites out of Miami.

I've saw your post on other forum and glad that you finally got it! We're planning to work on similar spoiler for 987 Cayman and Boxster. Show us some pics after installed!

Thanks I should have some pics by tomorrow and man it was bit nerve racking to order with them. Any chance you have thought about a front lip spoiler as well ?

I am not trying to dog Safetech composites out of Miami but ROTEC and Ray are the men around these parts .
he is prompt ,he is there for you
and he does what he says .
I think you know what I am talking about Sleepy996.

Motor Lux is all to familiar to me as well .
shipped me some CF products that did not fit properly
then went out of business.
never returned my calls !! aahhh frustrating

Glad to hear you got your rear wing though !!
I have friends on other forums still waiting to hear from Safetech.you are lucky

Porschepet I look forward to picking up parts from ROTC but was under the impression that Safetech is the only producer of this spoiler right now. I threw in some shots of the stock spoiler vs the safetech spoiler and also finished pics. The final question I keep getting asked was it worth the wait and dealing with zero communication from them I would say yes only bc I ended up getting the spoiler and the fit and finish is impressive. If your a impatient person then I would not order from Safetech expect a wait time of at least 6 wks.

Hey Peter, thanks for your help and we can try this on Boxster. Here are couple pics of Porschepet's Cayman OEM spoiler on my Boxster S. Note, the spoiler have silver stripe at the edge which match my Boxster S logo nicely ! It was a direct bolt on to Boxster. You will see the bottom spoiler black plastic part from behind. You can paint it to match, but for my black Boxster, is not really visible. We should have the bigger CF spoiler here for test fit next week. Will post more detail pics after!

Nice looking Boxster - the wing completes it nicely.
