Aftermarket steering wheel options?

I'm after an aftermarket steering wheel with a smaller dimension than the factory wheel.

Design911 sells these Raid steering wheels which comes in 340mm and 320mm.
But I wonder if any of the sponsors here sell a similar type steering wheel?

Also what other options are out there? And where is the best place (price) to shop?

Appreciate any comments.

Btw, it's for a manual 986 Boxster S.

FVD in the states sells that type of wheel in your post. They run from just under $800 to 1400+ (pending on style, etc.). IIRC, the wheel does require an adapter/hub to make it work. FVD is a sponsor here and you can reach out to Rhonda. Let me know if you decide to go with it. I would also like to have a smaller wheel (320mm), though at this point... I'll probably get mine re-wrapped my factory with perforated leather and alcantara.

Thanks. I will give them a try.

Why did you decide on 320mm? I was tossing between 320 and 340, I guess 340 would be a little easier to get used to...

I don't know anything about them or their quality but I think they are a sponsor here. They have some posts with pictures and they look great. I have TechArt whose quality is impeccable but you pay dearly for it.

The steering wheel in the 9x7 cars are fairly large (~14" in diameter). If you sit back and look at the steering wheel, it looks a lot like something on a big boat.
I'd like a smaller-sized as it's a little more manageable.

Same with 9x6 cars, I don't get why Porsche make them so big. They take away so much knee room for when you get in and out, and it's not like the Germans are small...

I have contacted Rhonda of FVD, looks like I will get one similar to this but maybe with Alcantara.

I have spoken to DCT as well, great stuff they have, but they don't have anything smallers, only OEM steering wheels.

smaller steering wheel

I have a 330 mm and its perfect ! tried a 320 first but it was a tad too small .
Personal Grinta with yellow stitching and a bell works Hub and it feels like iam driving a different car .it makes a huge difference !!
you lose the air bag though .
I am loving it!!

Don't know about size choices of if they do anything other than carbon.

Another option to consider is the OEM factory "fatter" optioned GT3 steering wheel.
