Thoughts? 40lb weight savings (edit: closer to 30)

Swapped my Fabspeed Maxflo for this.

Sounds like a race exhaust, which is cool. Assuming your car is a commuter car and not a dedicated track car, the potential for drone may be a bit much for long commutes/drives (or when you have a girlfriend/wife/partner/etc in the car). I'm just guessing about the drone, btw.

Personally, I probably wouldn't mind this setup. I'll have to provide some ear plugs.

Sounds Great and the weight savings is a bonus !!

I would be interested as well if I could sell my Remus or trade someone ?
or your Fabspeed Maxflo ? to match my Fabspeed catles headers
at this point I want all Fabspeed

At this point, I want to go all or nothing, although I do love the sound of the Remus on the first gen cars. From my correspondence with Fabspeed, this Race system is LOUD, perhaps unbearably so (and I love loud exhausts). I wish I could just hear one in person first...

Edit: Ok I'll go first. Ordering one tomorrow. Anyone want to buy a year-old Fabspeed Maxflo?

The weight savings alone might be worth it. Couple of questions ...
1. Is there an option for silencers? Would a nice option for daily driving.
2. Any error code on the dash?

Thanks

Is this from the Cayman Interseries cars??? Does this fit the newer Caymans/Boxsters??? Wonder if it would fit on the Spyder?

Please post info on your exhaust when you get it --- thanks!!!

It fits my 2009, so I assume yes for any second gen car. I believe the exhaust is still in production, so the earliest I can get it on will be ~Christmas.

Chris, I don't see how this could trip any CEL. I am retaining factory headers.

Yes, i would assume that if it fits your 09 it would fit my 2011 too. I have a call into Fabspeed as its just a few towns over from me

Thanks for the headsup Scott.

I talked to a dude today that had this EXACT exhaust on his race prepped Cayman S and said it is REALLLLLLLY loud. He also owns a Boxster Spyder and said it would be AWFUL on this car.

I trust his opinion....but man, none of the other exhausts seem to be loud enough for me. Help!!!

Those are great exhaust systems! always shakes up the the goosebumps when a customer brings one in.

Love the sound of the catless headers + exhaust.

We even put one Fabspeed headers with factory 2 stag exhaust.

Pondering swapping my current Fabspeed Maxflo for this.
Fabspeed makes good products, but I do not believe the weight savings.

Stock exhaust: approx 49 pounds
FS Catack: approx 39 pounds
My custom straight through race exhaust (similar to FS race): 29 pounds

So, 20 to 25 pounds OK (lighter cans maybe), but 40 (so it weighs 10 pounds?). Who cares on a street car.

Also, this exhaust will be very loud. Far to loud for the street.

Cheers,
