Does the Boxster/Caymen have that traditional inaccurate speedo?

Before I installed the Techart Rear wing on my Cayman I got pulled over entering the FWY in Tacoma Wa .There was a cop on the FWY that said he saw my Rear spoiler go up on the on ramp so he knew I was going at least 70 .He ended up being a really cool guy and we talked about Porsches for 15 minutes ,He told me his father in law owns a Cayman and told him about the rear spoiler going up at 70 .He ended up just letting me go about my way without any ticket and asked me to please dont use the onramps as a race track .What a cool cop
FWIW, even if someone were aware of the technical aspects of the Porsche spoilers, that would not be probable cause for a traffic stop.

cfr 49 defines speedometer "reasonable accuracy" as +- 5mph @ 50mph. (although this reference is in the truck section, it is the only reference to speedometer accuracy that i could find)
I imagine that differences in tires size contribute most to the "error"
