addicted to the boxster s - what parts next?

It's been awhile where i have had a car that it has been so much fun to drive and buy parts for. the last one was a twin turbo toyota supra.

in the course of four weeks, i have gotten myself a set of HRE wheels. cayman wing. and now a milltek exhaust. someone was trying to snipe the ebay auction i was bidding on. if you are a member of this board, you just cost me another $160! if the seller is a member, congrats, you just got yourself an extra $160.

what should be up next? I am thinking either springs or coilovers. and then finish off with a set of track/auto-x wheels that i can not worry about thrashing through tires. 17s or 18s? it's a balance between cost and size that will fit sticky but inexpensive tires. i m trying to do this all on a reasonable budget and have bought everythng used thus far.

So what year is your car? I would suggest posting some pics in your garage.

you don't need much... the car is pretty awesome from the factory. if you're going to track/autox, I would suggest getting a more aggressive alignment, get some camber in the front tires so you will get better tire wear. stay off the PS2's, they basically peel off from the outer edge when you track the car. you may also consider the motorsports air oil separator because these cars can be known to have oil consumption issues.

Haha, I was watching that Milltek exhaust and considered sniping it but then decided not to in the end. Congrats on the win.

I know one thing for sure before you buy sticky tires for your car, take care of the oiling first. Probably one of the more secure things to get is an accusump accumulator. Little pricey but works well. The other thing is the AOS as was mentioned previously and of course brake pads. If tracking is new to you then you can wait for all that stuff until you get better.
