spacer required with 19-30-295 11" et38?

As title ask...will spacers be required on Cayman 19x11" et 38 using PS2 295-30-19 on H&R springs....I woulkd love to be able to get by without spacrs at all...I know 6mm spacers work but does stick outside the fenders a tiny bit. I think 3mm spacers are available and are the smallest I've seen. Anyone know or have experience with such a set-up?

Cool

You should be OK. I have Hankook V-12's 295/30-19 on 11" wide Carrera Classics. The wheels are et51 and I am using spacers for a net offset of 37mm. The Hankooks measure nearly 305 in section width. The closest point approaching interference is between the edge of the rim and the strut. There is a gap of about 4mm to 5mm. ( I have 19x8 et57 with 6mm spacers for a 51mm offset and 235/35s in front.)

I spent way too many hours investigating tires and wheels on these forums and pondering what to do in terms of tire sizes/wheel widths/offsets. In the end, I am thrilled with what I ended up with. The wheels fill the wells nicely (I have Eiback lowering springs) and the rears just barely peak out from the fender. It looks like a wall of rubber from behind!

That should work without spacers. et38 with 11" rears is fine.

I'm Running an 19x11 with a 33ET wrapped in 275/30's. Im going to try a 285/35 next, but will probally need to roll the rear fenders a little to accommodate the bigger tire.

Heres what it looks like so you can get an idea

Saw your car @ Wheels Across the Pond yesterday. I was parked 3 or so cars down from you. Would've been good to meet in person... next time.

Getting slightly off-topic, but I was there with the Yellow Boxster S (car in my avatar). I run 275 on 19x10 Champions RG5s... If you have 19x11, you definitely should run 285's. I noticed the lip on your rear wheel is quite a bit exposed.

Yeah I thought that the tire might not clear the fender, so I went for a little bit of stretch, but seeing is though there is a lot more room I'll go with the 285's

So 11 inch wide do fit? Many board members first reaction to posts about 11 wide in the rear is that they just won't fit. Is 30 mm spacer too much? We could fit carrera s wheels if 30 mm spacers are ok to use

Cool spacer required with 19-30-295 11" et38?

You should be fine at 38mm of offset. I ended up at 37mm with an et51 wheel and 14mm spacer. I am using wide body Carrera Classics. As I said earlier, the 295/30 Hankooks look awesome and fit nicely. I have detected the very slightest bit of rubbing inside the fender well (a little rubber dust left behind. No marks on the tire). I have Eibach springs with 6.5m compensation plates for a net drop of 1.25" in the rear.

Several wheel comparison calculators are on line. You can input wheel diameters and offsets for two different size wheels and the results of the calculator are presented in terms of inside clearance difference and the change in how much further out it sits. You can make allowance for the spacer by changing the off sets accordingly. If I remember correctly adding a spacer decreases the offset. Use the stock size wheel as the basis.
