Steering wheel mod...

I didn't get around to sharing this on 6spd.. but better late than never. I got this steering wheel off another member selling on ebay. My interior is black, so the wheel wouldn't work without further modification. After doing some research, Don @ Dallas Custom Wheels can make this match my car. With that in mind, I bought the wheel and set it off to Don to do his magic.

Transformation from start to finish:
When the wheel showed up in the mail (front & back)

Don redoing the padding

New black wheel installed:

Carbon, perforated leather and Alcantara

Thanks for the compliments.
The wheel came modified with the carbon and grip (I believe it was done by DCT). Don from Dallas Custom Steering Wheels re-wrapped with perforated leather and alcantara - per my request. He can also thicken the grip of the wheel (we all know the non-sport wheel grip is very thin) and add thumb rests. He has a website with pictures of his work. I don't think I can post the URL since they're not a sponsor, but you can find it by doing a search. You can also email Don at dallascustomsw@yahoo.com.
