Has anyone installed the Boxster twin turbo kit?
Is there a US manufacturer/distributor of a turbo kit for the boxster?
I have seen a twin turbo kit for the boxster at http://www.t-t-p.de/english/986.php , but this seems awfully expensive for a turbo kit at $21,000 usd (we can super charge a miata for about $2000 usd).
If anyone does have one of these kits or knwos anyone who has installed one, is it 'emissions' friendly and is the car still reliable?

We have a tt kit for the Boxster 390 hp and uses a air cooled intercooler.

Is it true that the tt kit is upwards of 20k ? How many of these kits have you installed? Reliability? I have heard that the high compression of the 3.2l engine and a turbo makes the engine run too hot. is this true?

 

We have done 9 of these kits.This is a low boost conversion .5 bar.Yes the kits are over 20k.It is a big conversion with complete new exhaust system,new rear deck,Intercooler housing lid.new air intakes,Big intercooler,turbos etc.etc We have had no issues with reliability.
