I'm helping a friend new to Porsche who's very interested in a 2006 Cayman S with 31,XXX miles out of a place called Chicago Motor Sports/ Power Sports. Is anyone familiar with this place and can offer feedback? They are a reseller of some pretty nice cars but that means nothing to me. If anyone is interested in a doing a favor of a stop and look, that would be greatly appreciated. He's planning on a PPI at a Porsche dealer anyway but I think a visual is important to make sure the car is as advertised in photos. For those that are owners or past owners, anything to look out for as it relates to the 2006 ? Thanks much in advance !

 

My Dad bought a 2006 Cayman from them and it has been great. It was about a year ago and he flew up and purchased and drove it home. No issues. Car is awesome. Hope this helps.

 

There is a certain amount of risk involved with buying any pre-owned car from anyone. That being said, these cars are pretty reliable. Do your due-dilligance... check the carfax, tire wear, brake wear... etc. You'll be fine
