Boxster Spyder care questions:

1. What is a good product to use for cleaning/maintaining the soft top? Is the care for the Spyder top any different than any other soft top?

2. What is a good product to use for the leather interior, especially considering that my Spyder convertible will be exposed to lots of sun?

I realize that I could probably research this myself but wanted to post my first question on this forum.

The Porsche Products are best paired with your Porsche soft top.

That would be the Porsche "Cabrio Top Cleaner" and the "Convertible Top Waterproofer".

For the leather you can go with Lexol or Sonus, IMO.

 

+1 on the Raggtopp Cleaner and Protectant. They do a great job. I'm sure the Porsche product is great too but I haven't used that.

 

Raggtopp makes your top look brand new. Finish it off with the protector.

 

all those mentioned are fine products. i have a porsche soft top wash concentrate and protectant spray. pm me if you want to pick these up at a good price. both are barely used.

for leather, i use zaino which has a UV protection. zymol's leather treatment is good too. there are tons of good ones. just apply 1-2x a year and you're good.

 

....the 303 products are THE best. You can find it on Amazon. I personally use the marine 303 that is used on all the canvas on boats. Water will bead on the canvas like wax!!! My top looks brand new after 4 years of Florida sun

 

So are the Boxter convertible tops fabric/canvass or vinyl? When I read about some of the protectants they differ if it is fabric or vinyl. I have a 2005 Boxster. Thanks!
