Trick of the light.
Your "Last Fall" pic has the light high in the picture and you have a nice shadow under the character line that runs through the door handle.
The "Today" picture has light from all over, including lots from low down, thus washing out the shadow you would normally get from the character line.

Yes we should definitely get some picture threads going - really unfortunate we don't have that with that sheer # of members this board has! BTW the Boxster is hot, wow! It looks amazing. Wonder what kind of in-person presence it has.

am i the only one who thinks this is the best looking car in the porsche line up? it is simply gorgeous! i bet non car people would think its more expensive than a 911 cab.

Frankly I find it kind of sad that Porsche has to display both cars in colours that are premium, like I mean 2K+. I don't understand the logic behind these decisions let alone the massive up-charge on paint.
