Chris Harris On Cars Review of 2012 Porsche Boxster S

Plenty of "informed" people think the Boxter is a hairdresser car... But Chris Harris doesn't look like a hairdresser...

i think we all can agree, that the gap between the 911 and the Cayman/Boxster is almost equalized, so (like harris said) the car is a real bargain! Harris loves the 911 to death but look how difficult it was for him to say that the new Boxster/upcoming Cayman is not the better car! Boxster fans will be very happy about this and 911 fans won`t care too much.
either way a true win for Porsche!

He has a 4.0 RS himself so he knows a thing or two about them. Really like the new car.

Yes, I think the biggest competition for the new 911 may be the new Boxster and Cayman. Aside from the dumb move of making the steering electric, Porsche seems to have nailed it with this car. Can't wait to drive it. If it drives as well as it looks, it may be hard to resist.

The exterior lines of the 981 are just perfect!

I'll save my comments about the electric steering until I actually drive it.

I've driven the 991... It's really not bad at all honestly... But you do lose a bit of feedback I think.. Steering like so many other things are in the eye of the beholder... I bet many would like it better ?
