Removing/Installing aluminum thrust bushing in the rear control arms

I want to replace the soft rubber thrust arm bushings in my Cayman's rear/lower control arms with some solid aluminum ones. Is it possible to do this without removing the control arm from the car? It looks like it might be if I remove the the bolt that connects the angular link to it. Will there then be enough movement in the angular link that I can swing it out of the way so I can attach a threaded draw bar to pull the rubber bushing straight out the bottom of the control arm?
