Oval plate just looks right to me.

 

 

Nice looking ride Audi Junkie !! Haven't seen an oval plate in a long time, last time I remember seeing one was when I was a kid and I had them hanging up all over in my bedroom.

Thanks guys. imo, the 550 makes it. The oval seems to make the front sleeker, more narrow.

 

Not a big fan of front license plates although this one is unusual to say the least.

 

It goes with the car's lines better than the squared-off plate.

 

Not that its rice, but kinda weird. My eyes went straight to it, which seems to be the case when things dont quite fit in right? Cool that its different though

I agree that it might look better than a rectangular plate -- but it doesn't look better than no plate to me. if you're willing to put the oval plate on the front, then I assume you're willing to go with no plate at all.

 

If I was fortunate enough to live in a no front license plate requirement state I'd leave it alone. But if you must put something up there, I'd go with oval over rectangular to flow more evenly with the lines of the car.
