to the Cayman/Boxster world. Just traded my 09 997S for a very slightly used 2014 Cayman S (1800 miles). Too good a deal to pass up, plus CPO'd which added 2 years to the warranty. Plus, already window tinted, and Xpel clear protection for the whole front forward of the windshield to include entire quarter panels.

I had grown tired of Carreras and wanted something different. I miss the power and effortless grunt, but not the cornering and braking. Now I'm on a quest to gain back some power. I have PSE, so I'm thinking headers, IPD plenum/82mm TB, and x-exhaust tips should give me some more throttle response. So far I'm really enjoying the car, especially how composed it is. It does everything so well, and love how the motor fills the interior with such a wonderful noise at high rpms.

Anyone done the above mods? I already placed an order with Suncoast for the black lower front spoiler, full color crest center caps, and clear side markers.

Car looks great!

In regards to the headers, IPD plenum, exhaust, and tips - they should give you some noticeable performance gains. I would be more then happy to help outfit the car exactly how you would like, feel free to shoot me a PM.

Thanks. I already added your exhaust tips to go with my PSE.

What would you say is the expected hp gain with adding headers w/200 cell cats, IPD plenum, and 82mm TB? Nice to know, but ultimately I don't strive for peak gains, but rather the overall affect across the entire powerband to include throttle response.

Our Sport Headers add a little over 13 WHP through out the power band when dyno-ed in conjunction with our Maxflo Performance Exhaust System. It sounds like you have the PSE exhaust - so I would assume the gains would be in the same ball park. I currently do not have exact gains for the plenum or throttle body, but I am sure the gains will be maximized with the other modifications you are planing, especially if you add an intake as well.
