New member here

Hi there. I have a 2015 Boxster GTS. I ordered it last Christmas and bought it this past May. Here are some pictures from this past summer:

Here is what I ordered for my BGTS:

Rhodium Silver with Garnet Red Natural Leather interior and red soft top.
6 speed manual.
PTV.
Sport Techno wheels.
GTS removed from doors.
Porsche crest on headrests.
Painted roll bar in exterior color.
White on instrument cluster and sport chronometer.
Bose surround system.
Frunk and Trunk cargo liners. I also installed WeatherTech floor liners.

I put close to 3000 km (1900 miles) this year. Currently it is in storage. I do plan on keeping this car for a long time! I hope everyone has a good holiday season.

I definitely wanted to get silver...but wasn't sure to get GT silver or Rhodium. I saw the 2 silver colors parked next to each other and decided that I liked the lighter Rhodium better. I really like the Red interior...I wanted something other than black but wanted a color that would still look good after many years. Thank you for the compliments.

Sweet. Sorta new member here too. Just re-joined after being inactive for some time. Sold 02 Boxster S in September and just picked up new 2016 Boxster GTS just before Thanksgiving. My colors are somewhat different: Triple Brown - Mahogany Metallic/Espresso Natural Leather/Brown Top.

Triple Brown BGTS Pix

Here's a few pix. The mahogany metallic shows some red in bright sunlight. Configuration wise, I chose the 6 speed manual, sport suspension, nav, keyless entry and that is about it. Doesn't need many more options.

I have already done my first hack. I didn't like that the USB phone connection was in the glove box, so I bought a 10' sync cable and connected the USB end in the glove box and ran the cable under some of the plastic trim pieces on the console and into the center console.

That color looks great in the sun! I really like that color combo. Nice stance with x73. I took my time with choosing between x73 or PASM. I went PASM because of the roads and I don't plan on tracking my car.

Beautiful BGTS!

Thanks Jeff

I like your silver too, but I kinda wanted to do something unusual. I had seen a mahogany or perhaps macadamia brown Boxster on the road one time and it really turned my head.

The roads are pretty decent in the ATL area and I can drive it year round on summer tires (carefully when cold), and I will track it after break in is completed. Thus the X73 made sense. So far, I have not regretted it, but I only have 200 miles on the car.

Not surprisingly, I could not find a car in these colors in stock, so I also ordered it, and it also took 6 months to delivery. I ordered in mid May and took delivery just before Thanksgiving here in the US. It is an amazing car, and quite a step up from the 02 S.
