Cayman bumper on a Boxster?

Did anyone try to mount the Cayman frontbumper to a 987 Boxster? I think it should look pretty good. I am also sure that the parts would fit. Any thoughts? Thinking about doing this to my 987.

Some people still think that the Cayman's front bumper is not as good looking as the Boxster's. You might find a Cayman owner willing to swap.

You can swap more than that from what I see. Looks like you can do the rear spoiler rear bumper and side vents as well. Thats exactly what I would do if I had a boxster ; )

I'm pretty sure that you cannot swap the rear spoiler, since it is visually a part of the deck lid (which is differently designed on the Boxster and on the Cayman). And if you can't change the rear spoiler, then you can also not change the rear bumper, since the rear bumper is also the lower part of the split wing.

However, I don't like the rear view of the Cayman anyway. But I do like the Cayman's frontbumper. It looks more aggressive than the Boxster's front IMHO. Especially with the TA frontlip on.

Rear wing is not part of the decklid. Im looking at one as I write this. Looks like it wouldnt be a problem to do.

Okay... thanks. But is the lower part of the wing part of the rear bumper?

Does anyone know whether putting on the Cayman frontbumper on a 987 Boxster is an easy install? To my understanding the parts big parts (like front PU) should fit exactly... but I wonder whether their might be problems with the airducts and the tiny bits and pieces.

I would actually try to swap more boxster parts on the Cayman rather than the opposite...

Here are two pics of the Boxster with the standard bumper and the Boxster with the Cayman bumper. I think the Cayman bumper looks hot and way more aggressive than the standard boxster bumper.

Hmm, this last one makes the Boxster bumper looks so blah...
