Say what you want about the sound , the performance is impressive. Low 12 second car with Pdk sport chrono:

 

pretty soon people will be saying.... well we gave up on power steering first, then manual gearboxes, then sound, then looks. oh wait a second now were not even driving the car.


the sound for me is the killer. nobody who wants a "fast" car buys a boxster, they get pretty much ANYTHING else for the same money. They buy a Pcar for the handling, reliability, flat 6 sound and image

 

I agree 100%. Not saying I won't own a 718 but at least for now I took the 981 BS. The sound of the flat 6 had a ton to do with my choice. I like the looks of the 718, I love the performance of the 718 but I am not enamored with the sound......although it is still better than the M4 I just got rid of. I didn't care for the sound of the M4 and settled anyway and bought one. I was not doing it on the Boxster S.

Most fun car I have owned to date.....while being nearly the slowest. Handling, steering, sound, 6 speed manual transmission, shifting, feel of this car is phenomenal.
