Test Drove a Cayman!!!!!!!!!!
I was expecting this car to be very similar to the 987S. Boy was I wrong.
It is very quick (It seems quicker than my 993) and incredibly nimble. It is hands down the best handling car I have ever driven. The car I drove was optioned with 19"s and sport suspension package. I love it!

I went and checked one out today as well and it looked very good, they where getting ready to close so I didn't get to test drive it, probably have to make a trip out for that later this week.

Luis...have you driven an Elise/Exige? Curious if it's go-kart like handling is better/worse/different than the Cayman.
__________
i had elise and have cayman now.
elise has faster response, better steering feel, even more tossable than cayman. it's a great toy, cayman is a car not a toy.
i dont mean toy as derogatory, but that is the best way to describe the two cars. one is a great toy and the other is a great car.

I'm going to at least bring mine, the girlfriend isn't into showing hers as much but I might convince her to enter hers as well. Doing my best to have some friends bring thier cars as well (Pcars and Supras mainly). I'm REALLY looking forward to it, last year my car was about 1 month out so I brought my daily beater Honda Element

@LUIS: I drove a Cayman and got back into my 987 Boxster shortly after to have a direct comparism. To me they felt pretty close, but with an extra boost of power for the Cayman.
The Cayman I drove did neither have the 19" wheels nor the sports suspension package, but the standard 18" Cayman S rims and the standard suspension. Maybe that was the reason for the significantly better feel of the Cayman you drove?
Don't get me wrong..., the Cayman does feel slightly better (i.e. stiffer) than the Boxster,... but to me it was only a very, very slight improvement which I wouldn't sacrifice for the benefit of having a true roadster with a soft-top.
