so someone ordered a Cayman S
renn,
What kind of options would bring the price to $90k. The one I drove had the sports crono package, 19's, nav and it seemend pretty loaded at $71,500. What else could somebody get to make it over $20k more?

i was playing around and optioned one out the way i would want one. It came to $89,850. Options included all carbon fiber available, sport chrono, PCCB, adaptive sport seats, and a few otehr goodies. I am not getting one of these bad boys any time soon, but my search in earnest for a used boxster has begun.. I am going to join the damn club one of these days.

anyone drive it? is it worth all the hype?! wanted to save my 20k from a 997 S and go for the "new" thing out there, possible a better handling car.

I paid 50K flat for my first Porsche, a boxster S with not a single option except for floor mats. No power seats, no litronic, no speakers, no nothing. One of my favorite cars ever. Didn't need anything else. I think the beauty of the cayman and the boxster is in it's simplicity. Its all go and no show in my eyes. For a second (or third,4th,5th,6th) car, maybe you won't need many options???
That being said, options are good too. Peace.
