Reattach Rearview Mirror

Have a 2019 718 Boxster GTS. The rearview mirror has come loose. I can't figure out how to reattach it, the clips have me baffled. The mount is still attached tot the windshield, how do i get the apparatus on to the mount? Ideas? Video?

perhaps....and then they'll put the thought in your head that you need new shocks all 'round and you'll have trouble sleeping for the next month or two.

You car is under warranty so use it and make them fix it. And if they say there is a problem with the shocks make them replace them also so you can sleep free of worry.

you're right, of course. wasn't thinking...

i've owned a few new cars, but for the most part of my 50+ years of car ownership i've owned "out of warranty" models and consequently end up paying for every repair. in fact, i don't think i've ever had any work done under warranty. and it won't be long before most warranties would exceed my life expectancy. and then it would be folly to even consider a new car.

I went out yesterday to wash my 250 mile 2020 GT4 and the drivers headlight low beam warning came on. This will be the first time in 14 years I will have to have a car repaired under warranty. Well if you don't count re-flashing the computer on my Taycan in a recall which will be done the week after they fix the headlight.
