Cayman/Boxster engine???

i am picking up my cayman s this week... is there a market for boxster owners to purchase this engine since the new 2007's are going to have them... i want to put a 3.8 in it and i thought maybe someone with an 987 w.o. this engine might be interested? you think that's possible.

Do you have any idea how much a crate 997 engine costs?

Woah. That's not very expensive. Does the price include tranny/exhaust?

you dont need to change the tranny and i am not sure whether or not that includes the exhaust. my dealership, who i have a very good relationship with and doubt this price would be for everyone... said they could do the whole conversion for about $16,000 for me.
