That seems high with $4,317 down. What is the residual and money factor?

Thank you. I realize you don't set the numbers. I'm just commenting on what Porsche puts in place on these vehicles. The residual isn't as low as I thought. Its still pretty low though.. given 10K miles/year. It should be at least 60% after 36 months with 10K miles/year.

My wife just leased a BMW X5 two weeks ago and the 36 month residual on that is 60% with 12K miles/year and the money factor was .0022 (5.25%) through BMW Fin'l Services. I would think that the CaymanS would hold its value better than an X5.... and then the money factor?????

I just ran some numbers. On a 72 month purchase you can drive away in this particular CaymanS for $989/month with NO money down at a 6% rate (they are out there all over the place for 72 months at 5.5%- 7%))....just pay the taxes. Your loan balance at the end of 36 months is $32.5K which is even lower than the lease residual of nearly $36K. The real kicker is you have NO MONEY OUT OF POCKET except the sales tax.

Once again thanks for the info. Those are great deals at $500 over invoice!! Wish they were available when I bought mine .

BMW's typically have the best residuals out there.

simple, you'll lose over $15K the minute you drive that out of the door, unless of course you are getting a killer deal like you are here.
