I've seen many tuners do it, just curious how much work involving custom bracketing, if at all is involved. I would love to throw a 997 gt3 front on this car.

hi, my name is Jay i run the performance center here at Brandywine, we have done one of these conversions and it worked out wonderfully, there is no custom bracketry needed, it can be done with all factory Porsche parts, but it is a fairly involved job, if you have any question please let me know

It was the GT3 front end, the car was absolutly stunning, the car was a cayman non-s, so we also dropped a 3.8 liter motor in it that the customer had found from a wrecked 997, everything went very smoothly with the body work so you have nothing to worry about.

I will definately be looking forward to 'em!

Of course, now I've gotta find someone who totaled the frame of their beautiful, lovely 997.

Any idea on what the conversion cost (997 engine, GT3 front, labor)? That would be an awesome project...

the parts alone for the GT3 front conversion were aroud $6k, paint and install i have now idea because the customer payed the body shop directly.
