Cayman S Wheels

I recently leased a 2006 Cayman S with the 18" Cayman S wheels. I'm toying with the idea of switching to 19" Carrera S wheels in black. I really like the way those wheels look in the Cayman and feel like the car should handle better but don't want to lose the ride quality of the 18's. I've also heard that this car does handle better with 18" than 19". What do you guys think?

If you have PASM it will help soften the ride of the 19" wheels. Without PASM, the 19" wheels will ride a little harsher than the 18" wheels due to the reduced aspect ratio. Which handle better I think is subjective.

It is set up to work with 19s so those would be fine but if you're going to track it go 18s... Sounds like it's a street car so I agree with arling

depends on the tire selection. there's no specific reason as long as the rolling diameters are maintained. the car is designed to work with 19'' from factory, period.
