tires

whats goin on fellas? what sets of tires do you all run? i have 18'' victor equipment wheels.... the tires on it now are michelin pilot sport ps2's which run about 350 (reg price) on the rear 265 and 300ish for the front 235's (40ZR18 for both).... im keeping the same size, but i dont think i want to get michelins again.... suggestions? my cousin thinks i should run some pirelli pzeros which are a bit cheaper and i can get them for wholesale price which is a good amount off retail. i was also considering yokohama.... thanks guys

what do you think about Pirelli PZero's and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2's? I can get a deal for 265 and 235 for under a grand total for michelin, slightly over for the pirellis

Michelin PS2 are the Gold Standard (at least for me)....I'm running them on my 19s 265/35 & 235/35 respectively. But I have used T1Rs on my other cars and have no complaints as well.

I will second the T1R's they are great. I have had PS2, S03 etc and the T1R are easily as good and great looking to boot.

I get my T1Rs from edgeracing.com. Good prices and have the tires in stock.

You could probably fit a 275/40/18. Check out the sizes:

imho...I would stay away from the Pirelli's. I would have to go with the T1-R's as well, esp if you are just coming off the PS2's.

If you are looking for decent tires that you get for cheap then you can go with Pirelli's, but my experience with them...I'd rather dump the extra money for PS2's.

Go for the T1R's... run 265/35 18 or 275/35 18 ... I run the toyos on my 986 S (245/40-18 and 275/35-18)... great tire... super good prices at edgeracing too!

I love PS2's but I would like to try the T1 or the Nitto N1 or something similar. I never drive in the rain (live in AZ) and I want max traction at all times.

Also thinking of getting a set of 18"s for track and spirited driving.
