Pricing on a leftover 07 987S?

Looking to pull the trigger on a new 987S and was wondering if an on-the-lot 07 can be had for around invoice. If not, then how much above or below invoice should I be looking to pay? Thanks.

On 18 August I picked up my 07 987S for 4.5% over invoice. It seemed like a reasonable deal for them and me. The dealer was in Oakland, CA.

Preferrably Boxster S. Looking for something in the North East - located in the Phili area.

What do you think a good price on BS would be?

I would offer them 4-5% over invoice if you want to make it an easy transaction. If you have a VIN number or a Reference number and I can pull an invoice for you.

Thanks OCPorsche for the offer. Once I settle on the exact one, I'll send the VIN your way.

For some reason I was thinking that a better deal could be had especially with summer at an end. I guess 4% over invoice on your average BoxsterS is around 2k give or take?

Yeah thats what I have been hearing. I am sure you can get better than 4% over invoice. It might be more hassle though.

I ordered a CaymanS in March, with every option and Cocoa leather. I decided to stop tracking it before I thrashed it, and bought a second CaymanS last month, with almost no options.

I paid for $1000 over invoice. Maybe it was because it was the second Cayman S I bought this year, or that they had 21 of the 2007's in stock and the 2008's are in, or that it was the end of the month. Or all of the above.

IMHO, Buy it now, I don't think you can get a better deal until next August. Maybe able to get close in December, especially in any state with an inventory tax.

Apparently, Boxster S are in short supply though, compared to Cayman/Cayman S and the standard Boxster.

I think I'm going to shoot for 3% over invoice and see what happens. Thanks for the advice and I'll keep you guys posted.
