Hey guys, I didn't see a specific new member thread or chat thread. Just wanted to say hi! Looking forward to dropping by one of the meets in the near future.

Lots of good people and info on this site and if this is your first Porsche I'd highly recommend you get out to some local stuff as all the people I've met have been awesome. It truly is a great part of the pcar ownership experience.

 

Thanks Jim. I assume that the meets you are refering to are the Friday Woodbridge meets or Sunday Missauga meets? Are there any I'm missing? I'm going to try to drop by at least one of them this weekend if I end up not going up to the cottage...

As well, are there any shops that you guys recommend that I can buy parts from in the GTA?

Welcome & drop by the Friday meets, it's a ever growing group of easy going Petrol heads. We start to show up between 10 to 10:30pm

 

Any issues with the cops stopping you guys? Or do they only harrass the imports and the stangs? I just installed the fabspeed cat bypass this week and really don't need any special attention from the boys in blue... lol

 

Not at all, we just get the "rent a cops" kicking us out when it gets to late.

BTW: Can anyone recommend a good local shop that can source a good rear camber correction kit? I try to support our local shops whenever possible. My issues are detailed in the link below:
