Now that should be on the sticker!

I guess I found it funny that a car that cost over $800k+ was touting $750 over 5 years as a 'savings'. I'm betting at 0-60 in 2 secs, you're not saving as much fuel as the average car... Nor at 220mph+.

Sorry..., it's like saying,"But honey, I AM thinking about the planet... It's a hybrid!"

I get why you find it funny. But you have to keep in mind that the window sticker or Munroney sticker (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monroney_sticker ) has nothing to do with Porsche or any manufacturer for that matter. It is a US regulatory sticker that has to be uniform in all cars sold in the US and lists EPA figures. The information is not chosen by Porsche or any other manufacturer. A Veyron for $2.5M will have the same info (but of course it may say 7 mpg and you save $0!!!).

Oh, I know. Just ironic. I think it is humorous to see those two values side by side.

Watched a 918 hit it off the line for the first time with a GTR on PCH today. Damn those things are quick from a dig.

Because having $900,000 to spend on a car you're going to give a **** about $150/year.

Simply stunning.

Is it weird that I think one of the cooler items in the pictures is the CF wheel wells? I think it just goes to show the level of detail that goes into the car overall.

.

What is remarkable and hard to capture in photos is how low and squat this car is and how low you sit in it. Cockpit space is tight but beautiful and functional. Sticking my head partially inside the car, I was astounded at the fact that the front wheel arches rise way high (curvy and beautiful) like a LeMans prototype car! I read somewhere that the COG of this car is actually lower than the center line of its wheels aided by the battery pak on the floor of the car. I tend to believe it after I saw the car in person. It freaking looks like a race car in person.

I have seen this car in person in white, black, and dark blue. None of them look anywhere close to this car in guards red. It was breathtakingly beautiful!

I wasn't a huge fan of them at first, but in person they are absolutely breathtaking - in every sense of the word!! Hell of a machine, and so much presence.
