Just bypass pipes w/o full exhaust???!!!???

Has anyone done JUST fabspeed bypass pipes on their Cayenne S? I dont really want to spend $2,000 on exhaust right now but i totally want a more agressive sound from the truck...will just the bypass pipes get me anything? Any other options/ideas for me???

Thanks guys!

I used to have the bypass pipes with the OEM muffler it sounds throatier but a bit raspy when you climb the rpm's, get the FS mufflers while your at it or just add the bypass pipes and see for yourself.

hmmmm...not sure i want to be the guinea pig on this one.....300 for the pipes and then installation just to fire it up and be like "uuhhh, i hear no difference!" hahahahaha

I guess ill just wait until i have all the loot. It would be nice if someone from Fabspeed would chime in (cough*answer my PM from like 3 weeks ago*cough)

There is a difference and start up but the annoying rasp think 350Z starts at 4rpm and above and it seems to be the only issue with the 4.5 CS and not the Turbo CTT.

I had the Bypass pipes on my V6. The sound was OK but a bit "tinny" I've heard my friends V8 with FS Bypass pipes and although the sound was nice it sounded a whole lot better when he added his custom exhaust (same one I am running)...

I have bypass pipes only and love the sound. Go for it and if you end up not liking it add the exhaust. It won't be a waste.

-cat delete pipe
-new exhuast altogether
etc
etc
etc

Hey Jon,
You might want to check out my custom exhaust that was made by Protosport. I love the sound... I know you posted up on my other thread about wanting to hear a video... I'll try and get it up this weekend...
