2nd year anniversary for my 06 Cayenne S
Well the Black Turtle aka MeanMachine has passed the 2 year mark at last, I picked my long anticipated 06 Cayenne S back in October the 3rd 2005.
Even thought my life was a living hell waking up at 8am quickly going to the dealership before it gets congested so they can fix faulty electronic parts with the Cayenne, However at the end I am truly fortunate and blessed for owning a very very nice Porsche and its bad to be gready not being thankful for what you've got ie saying that its a crappy car and why didnt I get a Turbo.
I know and admit its not as fast as a Cayenne Turbo or any cheaper alternatives such as the Grand Cherooke SRT8 but atleast the interior feels more welcoming and enjoyful with the Havanna/Beige interior that sports the Carbon fiber Porsche exclusive package and a complementing Carbon steering wheel.
This is my first porsche and there were times that I would of ditched it for another SUV but the good thing I was patient after many failling attempts of the dealership's un-professional employees of fixing the Panaromic roof.
At least now everything works fine and I am glad that it is okay, Then again how come when you fix a Panaromic roof you suddenly alter the Voice control and freaks out?
Pictures will posted soon and it looks very very clean, and that I mean as if it is in the showroom and not used for 2 years.
Mileage isnt that bad, 2 years and 30,915km isnt bad right? Then again there are those who put 30,000km in a year.
I cannot find myself parting it out or replacing it with a new SUV, had as much seat time in it and I am very happy.
I would really love to get a G-class Mercedes before they discontinue it god knows when but I had an idea to keep the Cayenne S as a spare car at home in case one of the cars are spoilt or is in the dealership rather than trading it in.
As I mentioned pictures will be uploaded shortly and thank you for your time,
Mohammed.
