Is your Cayenne equipped with the air suspension or the normal steel springs???

Anywayz, if you have the steal suspension like I do, go with either H&R or Techart springs. I have the H&R springs which I purchased from tirerack for $290 lowers the car 40mm, and Techart costs $420 I believe and they say it lowers the car by 35mm. If you have the air suspension go with either techart or gemballa and i think they cost around $2500.

PS: If u decide to get H&R be sure to order it from tirerack, because they have the lowest price compared to others. Around $100 cheaper than the rest!!! If you go with techart talk to alring, he offers really good prices for techart stuff

The air suspension costs a lot more than the steel suspension. I think you should start with an exhaust then get a body kit.

If you lower with the Techart or H&R what does that do to the ride comfort?

Right now my car has the stock steel suspension and it's a bit rough, at least compared to my Lexus RX300 that I traded in.

Will the lowering kits make the ride even more rough? I would assume so, but wanted to double check. Also, how will it do in the snow?

For only $400 it might be worth lowering.

I don't feel any difference in the ride comfort, its still rough and it handles so much better. It is worthed to have the spring on your car, definitely recommend this to all steel suspension owners.

Never tried it before in the snow, I guess it is still good because 40mm isn't that much for a SUV.
