Why? Do you have experience with this tire?

They are on my 2008 Cayenne Turbo as a factory porsche tire. They seem to handle very well with low road noise.

They are also a summer tire which works great in OC, CA where it is always sunny.

I have not pushed it yet, but so far so good.

I think it's more because Michelin is pushing this tire for better rolling resistance which results in a better stopping distance as well as better gas mileage.

It's their sport tire for SUV's. A great tire but it really depends on your usage if it is worth it to you. I would look at the Continentals UHP's or Advans as well.

Not sure if they are all available in your size, but I like the Michelin Latitudes, Toyo Proxes S/T, or Pirelli P Zero. Pirelli over best performance IMO, but the Toyo's are a very good price point and best for highway, wet weather. Hope this helps.

My vote goes to the Toyo Proxes St. ...Pirelli P-Zero tires are over-rated and don't have the tread rating the Toyos have...overall the Proxes will do better (especially if you have to go through all 4 seasons yearly).

The Toyo is not available in a 295/21.

After speaking with Damon@tirerack.com I selected the Yokahama Advan Sport. He said the Pirellis are overrated and don't offer the grip, longevity or quiet ride offered by this new Yokohama.

Thanks for the feedback. Pics with the new shoes will be forthcoming.
