Question 2008 Cayenne S ECU Upgrade

Hello everyone. I am thinking on upgrading my ECU and have no idea how it is done, how much it will cost and which company is the best on upgrading the new 08 cayenne s. How much power would it add to my car and is it worth it?

Hello Canberk, the process of upgrading the ECU on your vehicle is quite a simple procedure. It involves one or two options. If you have a local shop to help you can have them take out your ECU and have it RE-Flashed...If not with minor instructions you can do it on your own..send it out to be Flashed then easily re-install the ECU..WE at RPM strongly reccommend the EVOLUTION FLASH equipped for your vehicle. It gives approximately 12-15 hp and 12-15 Tq. it costs $1,095.00 USD there are also many other recommended mods that can be cost effective and add to the ECU up-grade. TIM

12-15 hp at all 4 wheels?

Will this work on an 06 Cayenne S? Void warranty?

Thanks Tim!

Yes..12-15 hp at all 4 wheels..changing the ECU is a touchy matter when dealing with warranty issues.. the Evo flash is considered the best in our opinion and would never damage your engine. There are many dealers who will overlook ECU flash, but if it ever comes down to it, you can have your ECU re-flashed to stock and once again flashed at no extra charge.

If your doing the exhaust , i would consider the Evo air box as well..All three together make the most out of your vehicle.

Okay Staff@RPM. I am new in this tuning business and I need you to prepare a list for my 08 Cayenne S, a list that includes the possible performance boosting upgrades, please also include whether the upgrade voids my warranty or not. I need good prices, 1095usd for ECU upgrade seemed a little bit expensive after googling a bit. I am in michigan, but I may drive do NY, since I've also bought the car from Connecticut and drove back home, I think I can do that again. Waiting for your post
